Last Night on the Roan

  I have to say as I have been training for Ride NC 2010 that I have found a training partner that has rode ever ride with me. My new partner is our Savior JC. He has replaced all the guys that were committed to training with me but because of injuries and a new girl, they have let me down. Christ has not let me down and I need Him even more as I have increased my training. I feel so blessed to have His presence when the rides are long and the climbs hard.
  I climb Roan Mtn twice a week now. As the grade steepens, the pain sets in, I feel Christ riding inside me. His nail scared palm rest with mine on my handlebar and His pierced feet with mine atop my pedals. The pain I experience are no comparision to what He endured. Keeping this in perspective makes my training somewhat easier.
  I am riding very strong right now but I need everyone's prayers as my mileage steadily increase's this next month.
