Walking with God
One of the most valuable habits a Christian will ever develop is a daily quite time with God. Some reserve time in the morning, others in mid-day or late at night. This special time is a moment of Bible reading, prayer and reflection on God’s purpose for your life. It is a time of preparation for unknown opportunities, challenges and crises.
There is simply no substitute for spiritual preparation. In Matthew 25:1-13 Jesus gave a parable on the importance of preparation. Ten people had a responsibility – five prepared, five did not. Those who did not prepare were totally shut out from their responsibility, never to recover from that moment.
If you have not yet developed the habit of daily prayer and Bible study, why not begin now, so that you will be equipped for whatever life brings? We hope the devotions below will prompt you toward deeper Bible study, richer prayer and adequate preparation to face your challenges. Use them as a catalyst to assist you in the study of God’s Word. Use them to strengthen your prayer life.
