Senior Pastor.  Beach Road Baptist Church in Southport, NC is prayerfully seeking a Spirit-led, ordained man to lead a community of about 400 believers.  Beach Road has grown steadily over the past seven years and is characterized by a commitment to the Gospel and God’s Word as truth, small groups (about 70% participate), service, and missions/outreach (about 20% of annual budget).  The church family recently returned to a renovated, enlarged sanctuary, after being displaced for 14 months by Hurricane Florence.

Seeking a senior pastor who is gifted in preaching God’s Word, teaching, discipling, and has a demonstrated shepherd’s heart for the church family, the lost, and the community; willing to lead in conjunction with pastoral and support staff, and church leaders, partnering with the congregation to take the Gospel of Christ in Word and deed to the community and world. Requirements: exemplify God’s requirements for a pastor; example to believers in personal godliness; demonstrated senior or lead pastor experience in growing church preferred.  Letters of interest and resumes may be prayerfully submitted by email to: [email protected].  Deadline for submission is January 31, 2020.  Position descriptions will be forwarded in response to email requests.
