Pitts Baptist Church in Concord, N.C., is seeking a Worship Leader to lead the musical aspects of worship and church ministry.  Pitts is a conservative Southern Baptist Convention church with approximately 500 in worship on Sunday mornings.  We are multi-generational, with a representation of all age groups.  We have a blended worship style – both traditional and contemporary.  All of our pastoral staff members have lengthy tenures ranging from 18-30 years of ministry at Pitts.  Our current Worship Leader is taking an early retirement after serving us 26 years.  Pitts is consistently one of the top mission-giving churches in both the association and the state convention.  We also send out a good number of teams each year on local, regional, North American, and International trips.  The Pitts congregation is a stable body of believers, with consistent addition of new members.  We are located in the Concord Mills area of Cabarrus County.  
Responsibilities:
• Plan, develop, and coordinate the music ministry of the church
• Lead a music ministry that invites God’s people to worship and praise Him in both old and new ways
• Direct the planning, organizing, conducting, and evaluating of a comprehensive music program, including choirs, soloists, vocal and instrumental ensembles
• Use technology that seeks to enhance and enrich the worship experience
• Assist the church staff with IT needs and equipment purchases
• Supervise the work of paid and volunteer workers in the music ministry
• Prepare and administer an annual music budget
• Maintain the church’s website, including weekly sermon uploading, splash screens, and individual ministry needs as they arise
• Perform other duties, as assigned by the Senior Pastor
