K. Allan Blume BR Editor | It's time to be refreshed An unusually mild winter is ushering in a very early spring for North Carolina. (I hope I’m not speaking too early. We’ll probably see a good winter blast, yet.) Spring is the time for refreshing and rejuvenating ourselves for a powerful year of ministry. We need it on a personal level, and our congregations need it. So, don’t overlook some really great opportunities to be spiritually challenged without spending a lot of money. Look at these gatherings: (1) In less than two weeks an outstanding disciple-making conference will be at Center Grove Baptist Church in Clemmons. Click here for details for this February 27 event. (2) The following week, plan to attend the "Who Moved My Pulpit?" conference and learn everything you can about change! That is on March 7 at the West Campus of Calvary Baptist Church in Advance. Click here for more information. (3) Only a few days after that, you can grow in prayer at the Awaken prayer conference at Osborne Baptist Church in Eden. Click here to learn more about this event. Did you notice that all three of these events are advertised in different places on this page? I hope you pay attention to the messages our advertisers send you every week. They offer some very helpful tools for your spiritual growth. "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen" 2 Peter 3: 18. Have a great week! People need to know! Email me: [email protected] Follow me on Twitter Follow the Biblical Recorder on Twitter |
