K. Allan Blume BR Editor | Billy Graham statue returns to N.C. I am excited to see the Billy Graham statue returning to North Carolina. It was originally unveiled in Greensboro in 2006. I served as chairman of the SBC Committee on Order of Business that year and worked with SBC president Bobby Welch through the process of planning and presenting the bronze statue to the messengers. If you are not able to travel to St. Louis next week for the Southern Baptist Convention annual meeting, the Biblical Recorder’s staff will be there for you. Watch our social media feeds on Twitter and Facebook. Also, visit BRnow.org often for stories about events relating to the pastors conference and convention proceedings. A live stream of the event will be available through sbc.net from Sunday evening through Wednesday afternoon. We're here for you because People Need to Know! |
