K. Allan Blume BR Editor | Thankful for the Hollifields Monday, April 11 is the 10th anniversary of Milton Hollifield’s installation as executive director-treasurer of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina. Your Biblical Recorder staff produced a special eight page insert in this week’s print edition that honors Milton and Gloria for their faithful service. Some leaders in N.C. Baptist life and four key SBC leaders expressed their appreciation for the Hollifields in this issue. We attempted to summarize some of the changes and challenges he faced. We pointed out some significant accomplishments. There is so much more that could be written, but space is limited in the print issue. Take time today to read the special insert in the Recorder. If you subscribe to the digital edition, it is posted and ready to read now. Click here to login to the digital edition. Also, I shared some thoughts about Milton’s leadership in this week’s editorial. Click here to read it now. I hope you will find a way to let this special couple know how much you appreciate them. They need and appreciate your prayers. Continue to pray for our governor and state legislators. They have taken a courageous stand with their support of HB 2, and they are getting a lot of heat from LGBTQ activists. Contact them today to thank them. Learn about special rallies that are being held across the state. Visit ncvalues.org for details. I hope you enjoy the Recorder. We want every edition to inform you and your church congregation on the important issues of the day. Thank you for your support!
