K. Allan Blume BR Editor | Pray for healing In this column two weeks ago, I encouraged you to send me a brief comment about the ways your church is working toward racial reconciliation. I appreciate the response I received, but it was small. I would like to hear from more of our readers. Your BR staff would like to write stories about the way God is healing racial divisions in our state. One example is this story we shared with our readers in October 2014. Mud Creek Baptist Church and Mud Creek Missionary Baptist Church, both in Hendersonville, came together when pastor Greg Mathis sent a letter of apology to the pastor of Mud Creek Missionary church. Please take a moment to read how God worked in these two churches. Then click here to share your story with me. Please share copies of the printed Biblical Recorder with your church. Contact us, and we will be glad to provide a promotional bundle. Also, tell the church about the website, BRnow.org. We can do a much better job of serving your church if they know that we have important news to share with them. Thank you for your support! |
