N.C. Baptists ask 'Who is my Neighbor?'
K. Allan Blume BR Editor | Greear is president It seems to me that we saw a significant increase in the number of younger Baptists at the Dallas convention. Many are likely pastors, church planters, associate pastors and their families. This is good! I’m thrilled to see a younger-looking SBC annual meeting. My message to these new faces is this: Welcome! We’re very glad you came. Please come back next year. Until then, stay engaged with us! We need each other. We cannot impact lostness without working together. Watch for more news this week from the SBC Dallas convention on BRnow.org. This week’s print edition of the Biblical Recorder went to press the day before the Dallas convention, so you will not read any news about the week’s events in print. But you will read some great stories in the print edition, including the front page story about Mission:Dignity. Please lead your church to give a special offering to this ministry. You will be blessing those who have paved the way for our ministry today. Have a happy Father’s Day!.
