Concord Baptist Church in Anderson, SC, is a vibrant and growing community of believers committed to sharing the gospel and making disciples. Our thriving student ministry serves middle and high school students through discipleship, worship, and community engagement. We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Student Pastor to join our team and help continue to build a strong, biblically-centered student ministry. This person must have the calling, gifting, training, and a heart to lead a large and diverse ministry of worship with an average youth attendance of over 100 students. We are excited about our future, as we are currently expanding and in the process of constructing a new building that will be devoted to our students and kids. • Must be a regenerate Christian.
• Must be called by God and be biblically qualified for pastoral office in keeping with 1 Tim. 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.
• A seminary degree from an accredited institution (M.Div. equivalent) is preferred.
• Must be a faithful steward and tither.
• Must be committed to the Southern Baptist Convention and the Cooperative Program of the convention.
• Must be in agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 statement
• Must maintain the highest of Christian ethical standards in personal habits. Including abstention from drugs, alcohol, and tobacco; integrity in speech and actions; kindness in speech and deportment; and to seek to do everything in love.
• Must be committed to the fellowship and ministries of the church.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of church experience leading students or relative work experience.
