NASHVILLE (BP) — Minutes, facts and figures are what you’ll find in the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) Annual, and the 604-page 2025 edition is available now at SBC.net.
“The Annual is also the best snapshot of some of the topics Southern Baptists are wrestling with right now,” said SBC Recording Secretary Nathan Finn.
For 180 years the annual has been “the only consistent way for any and every interested Southern Baptist to know” the decisions that were made at the annual meeting and to learn about the work of SBC entities, he said.
The annual features:
- Minutes from the 2025 SBC annual meeting in Dallas
- Ministry reports from each SBC entity
- Budgets from each SBC entity
- The rosters of trustees serving each entity
“I appreciate the work that each of the entities do in providing the written reports we include in the Annual,” Finn said.
“I also appreciate SBC President Clint Pressley and convention preacher Tony Wolfe for providing the texts of their respective messages.”
The annual is the result of more than a year of work by the recording secretary and the SBC’s entities, but Finn says, “But by far, the biggest kudos goes to the Executive Committee professional staff. They put everything together in a way that is coherent, accessible and useful. There would be no Annual if it weren’t for the tireless work of the denominational servants at the Executive Committee.”
