First Baptist Church of Black Mountain, NC is seeking a full-time Associate Pastor for Families and Community. This individual will oversee the spiritual well-being of church families, assist in assimilating new members, and foster connections within the church community and community at large. The role involves providing spiritual guidance and support for all age groups, as well as developing and implementing programs that encourage community and discipleship. The Associate Pastor will work alongside the Pastor to facilitate Biblical learning for all ages, train and equip volunteers, and guide ministry teams within the church while empowering and teaching all to become active followers of Christ.  Candidate should have a Master’s of Divinity Degree or in the process of obtaining the degree.  Experience will also be considered.  Salary is negotiable upon education and experience.  For a complete job description, please contact Bill Walker, Personnel Committee at [email protected] or call 828-273-0025
