Our small-town church, located in the northernmost part of North Carolina bordering the State of Virginia, is a day trip drive to the ocean and the mountains.  We are seeking a pastor called by God to Shepherd our Church using the gifts of the Holy Spirit to lead the church in carrying out the Great Commission for the purpose of expanding the kingdom of God.  The pastor would be responsible to the church to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, teach the biblical revelation, show love for people in outreach ministry and pastoral care, grow believers in their discipleship, and be able to relate to and encourage all ages.  The ideal candidate should have an active, transparent prayer life as the foundation of his ministry.  He must be a licensed and ordained minister of the gospel.  Our pastor must demonstrate appropriate theological, doctrinal, and administrative skill, and support the Baptist Faith and Doctrine Message 2000 to adequately fulfill the requirement of the position.  Degrees are admirable, but a bible-based heart rendered sermon followed by a powerful alter call is what Providence Baptist Church is yearning for.  Please submit a resume to Providence Baptist Church, 1319 Virgilian Road, Roxboro, NC  27573, Attn: Pastor Search Committee.
