We’re looking for a passionate and spiritually grounded Worship Leader to help lead our congregation in heartfelt, Christ-centered worship each week. This person should have a genuine love for Jesus, a desire to help others encounter His presence through music, and the ability to lead and coordinate volunteers in our worship ministry.
Responsibilities include:
- Plan music for worship services in cooperation with the Pastor, staff, and other worship team members.
- Attend weekly staff meetings.
- Direct the praise team, praise band, choir, and congregation in worship on Sunday mornings, as well as other special or planned worship times.
- Develop a budget for the worship ministry
- Conduct weekly rehearsals for the choir and praise team as needed in preparation for worship services.
- Communicate song selection, practice schedules, and worship team roster weekly.
- Recruit new volunteers for the worship ministry.
- Manage a rotating schedule for musicians, praise team, and soloist.
- Provide musical support for other special events.
- Work with audio/tech team as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by the Pastor.
