NASHVILLE (BP) — Total Cooperative Program (CP) giving for the 2024-2025 fiscal year was $186,091,048.26, which is just over 2% below the budget goal of $190,250,000.
“The Cooperative Program continues to provide the primary financial support for state conventions and national entities,” said Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) Executive Committee President and CEO Jeff Iorg. “We are grateful for churches that prioritize giving through the Cooperative Program and the difference it makes every day, all around the world. We appreciate other gifts as well, but depend on this unified funding strategy to jointly fund the comprehensive work we are doing together.”
Total designated giving for the fiscal year was almost the same as last year — .24% lower at $200.4 million. (Last year’s designated giving total was $200.8 million.)
The Cooperative Program, Southern Baptists’ unified funding mechanism, was instituted in 1925, and Southern Baptists have held numerous observances of its centennial throughout this calendar year.
“We are grateful for 100 years of Cooperative Program giving.” Iorg said.

If national CP gifts exceed the budget projection at the end of the fiscal year, the balance of the overage is distributed according to the percentages approved for budgetary distribution. The SBC Executive Committee distributes all CP and designated gifts it receives on a weekly basis to the SBC ministry entities.
CP allocation budget gifts received by the Executive Committee are reported monthly to the executives of the entities of the convention, to the state convention offices, to the state Baptist papers and are posted online at sbc.net/cp.
