Revive Our Hearts, Holman Bibles partner in Bible designed for note taking

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. — Revive Our Hearts and Holman Bible Publishers have partnered to create a new Christian Standard Bible (CSB) notetaking edition to encourage women to incorporate journaling in their study of God’s Word.
The “CSB Notetaking Bible, Revive Our Hearts Edition” was inspired by the journaling experience of Nancy Demoss Wolgemuth, Revive Our Hearts founder, after a friend gave her a CSB Notetaking Bible in 2018.
“That Bible was my faithful companion on what became a five-year journey through God’s Word,” said Wolgemuth. “As I journaled through Scripture, soaking in each chapter and verse, I developed a deep appreciation for the readability and faithfulness of this translation, and eventually it became my primary go-to for personal study and teaching.”
Revive Our Hearts is a global ministry helping women to find freedom, fullness and fruitfulness in Christ. Through decades of ministry, Wolgemuth has shared the message of heart revival and biblical womanhood through daily teaching, resources, events such as True Woman conferences, and digital and broadcast outreaches.
“The CSB team and Revive Our Hearts share a commitment to God’s Word and a conviction of its transformational power,” said Andy McLean, publisher for Holman Bibles. “It’s an honor to partner with this ministry in this notetaking edition and to encourage believers as they journal through their discipleship journey.”
For those who use the new notetaking Bible, Wolgemuth said she hopes it will “become a means of fresh growth in your walk with Christ, the living Word.”
The “CSB Notetaking Bible, Revive Our Hearts Edition,” will be released on July 15. The edition features prayers and encouragement written by Wolgemuth, along with tips for Bible journaling and a one-year Bible reading plan.
“What an amazing journey it was for me to journal through the Bible — and still is today, as I continue to steep in God’s Word, line upon line, day after day. So rich. Encouraging. Practical. Life-giving and life-transforming,” Wolgemuth said. “But this journey, this happy place, is not just for Bible teachers, authors or lifelong students of God’s Word. Wherever you may be in your spiritual pilgrimage, it is available for you.”
One-day church tech conference draws from several states

LYNCHBURG, Va. — Nearly 300 ministry leaders from more than 50 churches across Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland, West Virginia and other states gathered for the 2025 Worship & Technology Conference.
This one-day event was sponsored by Innovative Faith Resources in partnership with Liberty University. Innovative Faith Resources is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention of Virginia (SBCV).
Designed to equip worship, production and communications teams, the conference delivered a day packed with encouragement, education and innovation, including more than 45 breakout sessions led by nationally recognized experts.
Sessions covered technology needs like ProPresenter, AI, video editing, live sound mixing, worship leading, stage design, lighting, graphic creation and project management.
“This was my team’s first time here,” said Greg Etheridge of Northside Baptist Church in Mechanicsville, Va. “We learned that we’re doing a lot right — but also picked up tips on how to take things to the next level.”
Karen Baker of Discover Church in Chesapeake, Va., agreed. “We’ve had several ‘aha’ moments,” she said. “We realized we weren’t using what we already had to its full potential to reach more people.”
Jerry Schroeder of SlavicWorship in Dallas, Texas, said it was good to connect with others in the same field to share insights.
“There’s usually someone who’s been through what you’re going through — and can help you through it,” he said.
Plans are underway for next year’s conference in late May.
