K. Allan Blume BR Editor | May 8: a defining moment May 2 2012 Next Tuesday, May 8, is a defining moment for the citizens of North Carolina. Sadly, volumes of deceitful and false information has been distributed by the opponents of the marriage amendment. I've not seen this level of lies in a campaign since the lottery was forced on North Carolinians, without a vote of the people. This time the people get to vote. I pray that Christians will not take this vote lightly. Too much is at stake! The impact of our decision goes far beyond our state. National leaders are watching the outcome of this vote. Some are saying that court decisions across our country could be affected by our vote. Vote FOR the marriage amendment. The Biblical Recorder website has much information on the marriage amendment debate. Please use these resources fully. But I want to recommend three specific pieces of information:
