K. Allan Blume BR Editor | Happy birthday! This issue of BRweekly celebrates the first birthday of this e-newsletter. On May 2, 2012 we launched this electronic publication to provide our readers with a short list of highlighted news of the week. Since all of us are blasted with messages from multiple sources every minute of the day, it helps when someone who shares your Christian worldview will condense and highlight some of the important messages for you. That is what we are trying to do. We hope you find BRweekly helpful. But, like most one-year-olds, we want to grow. You can help us grow by sharing your ideas and insights. Is BRweekly helpful? Can we do something to make it better? Please email me with your comments. I genuinely appreciate your input. This is a good time to say that the Biblical Recorder comes to you in three distinct forms: (1) the print version, (2) the website - BRnow.org, and (3) the BRweekly e-newsletter. Each of the three is different. There is content in each one that is not in the other two. For example, the print edition has content that is not online and is not in the e-newsletter. So if you are only looking at one, you may be missing something. Tell your church family and friends about all three! Soon we will be expanding our communication with an app for most smart phones and an online "pdf" version of the printed Biblical Recorder. Both have been in the planning stages for many months. Watch for an announcement! Thank you for being on the BR team! Email me: [email protected] |
