K. Allan Blume BR Editor | Gabriel reports from Super Bowl 50 This Sunday, Feb. 7, is Super Bowl Sunday. Roman Gabriel III, the Biblical Recorder’s sports correspondent, is in San Francisco this week for the big event. He is sending photos, videos and information to us throughout the week. Visit our Super Bowl page to watch Gabriel’s interviews with players on the Panthers’ team and the Broncos’ team. Many of these men share a clear, bold testimony for Christ. The following Sunday, Feb. 14, is both Valentines Day and Racial Reconciliation Sunday. We posted this story to guide your prayer life as you consider ways you can break down barriers that hinder Christian fellowship across racial and cultural lines. As you pray, please include two other needs on your prayer list. First, pray for Saeed and Naghmeh Abedini. We prayed for Saeed’s release from prison for more than three years. Now we should pray for their marriage to heal from the stress of this painful ordeal. Second, pray for revival in the United States of America. Pray that God will bless America and that Americans will be "blessable" people. I hope you are involved in the election process this year, but even more, I pray that every believer will be wise and discerning in choosing our leaders. REVEAL is fast approaching! Don't miss this important conference Feb. 29 at Lawndale Baptist Church in Greensboro. Speakers will equip you to reach our state for Christ through the biblical process of disciple-making.
