Allan Blume BR Editor | Budget reflects increased mission support The Executive Committee of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina approved a recommendation from the convention’s Budget Committee to adopt a proposed $31 million budget for 2018. The recommendation goes to the Board of Directors, then to the messengers at the annual meeting in November. The proposed budget includes a one-half percent increase in the state convention’s allocation to Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) Cooperative Program ministries. If approved, this will mark the 12th consecutive year that North Carolina's allocation to the SBC has increased. Read the full story here.
