And just like that, the Southern Baptist Convention's (SBC) 2019 annual meeting came and went. The much-anticipated event was chock full of encouraging information and generated plenty of news. Your Biblical Recorder staff worked hard to keep you informed with up-to-date information through our digital platforms.

Immediately following #SBC19, I was able to visit family for a few days in my native state of Mississippi. While there, I was invited by the current pastor of my home church to participate in the Sunday service by reading scripture and praying.
It was such a privilege to see familiar faces and worship with the small, rural congregation where I was born and reborn. It was a great reminder that everything we do at the Recorder is to serve local churches just like that one.
