The much-anticipated event was chock full of encouraging information and generated plenty of news. Your Biblical Recorder staff worked hard to keep you informed with up-to-date information through our digital platforms. Here's a statistical snapshot of our social media coverage from Birmingham:
Expect the Recorder's upcoming print edition to provide a big-picture perspective of the SBC annual meeting, including much of the content that was posted online. (If you do not currently subscribe to the print edition, visit our website to sign up.) Immediately following #SBC19, I was able to visit family for a few days in my native state of Mississippi. While there, I was invited by the current pastor of my home church to participate in the Sunday service by reading scripture and praying. It was such a privilege to see familiar faces and worship with the small, rural congregation where I was born and reborn. It was a great reminder that everything we do at the Recorder is to serve local churches just like that one. We are here to tell the Southern Baptist story! |
