K. Allan Blume BR Editor | They are not the same Another print edition of the Biblical Recorder rolled off the press this week filled with some great stories about adoption, churches on mission, the ongoing influence of a deceased Baptist leader and more. Some of our readers think everything in the printed edition is also on the website – NOT so! If you don’t read the print issue, you will not see the “Around the State” section that reports on the death of three prominent N.C. Baptist leaders on page 6 and staff changes on page 13. Neither will the full page “Graduation Roundup” (page 11) be on the website. That page lists December graduates from seminaries and highlights of several graduation ceremonies including keynote speakers The encouraging article by Chuck Register on page 10 will not be posted on BRnow.org. Also, the full page of items in the “Opportunity Corner” on page 13 cannot be found on the website We’re thrilled that you visit BRnow.org regularly, but don’t think it is a twin to the print edition of the Biblical Recorder. If you’re not reading the print, you are missing some information that may be important to you. However, if you want to get everything on the Internet, subscribe to the Digital Edition (DE) of the BR. For only $5.99 annually, you can read a PDF (a twin) of the print edition of the BR. That’s an outstanding deal! And if you have a paid subscription to the print, the DE is free. All you have to do is contact our circulation manager to get your access to the DE set up. Then you will have access to back issues of the Recorder for the past six years. (More back issues are added each month.) Take a look at this sample copy of the Digital Edition here – you really should have the convenience of this great resource. This week's issue is already posted online. If you are a subscriber, you get to read it before the print arrives in the mail! Thank you for being a faithful BR supporter.
