K. Allan Blume BR Editor | Winter storm damages BCH property Last week’s ice, sleet and snow in the Piedmont region of North Carolina caused some serious power interruptions and damage. Our Baptist Children’s Homes in Thomasville suffered damage to property and facilities, requiring assistance from volunteers. Baptists on Mission (North Carolina Baptist Men) were there to help, but more help is needed. Please read this story and help in every way you can. Share the story with others, also. I encourage you to read two columns we published in this week’s edition of the Biblical Recorder. Mike Creswell is the Cooperative Program consultant for the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina. He has written an interesting piece about the value of papers like the Biblical Recorder. I hope you will give serious consideration to his perspective. Also, please read my editorial in which I shared some additional perspectives about your Biblical Recorder. We appreciate your support through the Cooperative Program and your subscriptions! Have you registered for this year’s N.C. Baptist Men’s Missions Conference? It is only a week away. The lineup is powerful! You will be blessed to attend the event at Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Charlotte. Read more and register here. Please ask at least one friend and/or fellow church member to begin receiving this weekly e-newsletter. Will you do that right now? Anyone can click here to sign up for the free BRweekly. Keep praying and giving to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions. The vast lostness of North America cannot be ignored. The gospel is the only way to penetrate the darkness.
